Hi! Welcome to my shop! Here you will find my unique assortment of painted and carved pottery, paintings, scarves, and jewelry.
I love creating texture on surfaces, usually with clay or on canvas.
Using dark clay, I throw or shape the forms and paint them with quite a few layers of underglaze to get the desired colors. The designs are ocean inspired and achieved by carving into the painted clay. This process of painting and carving is called sgraffito. They are high-fire strong, and heat and food safe. The jewelry is light and durable.
