Tempo Gallery originally opened in 1985 in Brooksville, Florida. Tempo Gallery was inspired by the New York Gallery Scene where Galleries, Discos and Restaurants would just pop up for the night and all the right people knew and attended. Tempo Gallery was critically acclaimed as a cultural phenomenon in Brooksville. Tempo Gallery has been waiting for its reopening, just as a Phoenix rises from the ashes, Tempo Gallery is rising to meet the needs of the local culture in Hernando County. Painting classes, artwork and other hand made items, made by me or my shop members will be featured. Look for further announcements!
You will find a variety of Fine Art and Fine Crafts. My contemporary impressionist Tree paintings are the staple of the shop, however, I will be adding work from other artists in my shop and other handmade items from local craftsmen in my Gallery.
My contemporary impressionist tree paintings were inspired by Gustav Klimt, but influenced by the color use of the Fauves, in particular Matisse.
All my paintings are acrylic on canvas, sealed with clear acrylic to preserve the finish, unless otherwise stated in the listing..
