The items in our shop are made by Ugandan women who were formerly abducted by a rebel group called Lord's Resistance Army. They were used as sex slaves and child soldiers when many of them were not even teenagers, then eventually returned home to a community devastated by poverty and war.
Now out of the grasp of the rebels, they are doing all they can to make a better life for themselves and their children.
Join us in helping these women create a new life of independence and hope. All of the proceeds from the sale of items in our shop go directly to the women who made them, without a penny taken in administrative costs.
