-Bib: multi-strand with each strand longer than the one above
-Collar: 12-13 inches; worn snug around neck
-Choker: 14-16 inches; stops just above collarbone
-Princess: 17-19 inches; most common length
-Matinee: 20-23 inches; casual or chic
-Opera: 28-34 inches; sometimes doubled as a choker
-Rope: 40-45 inches
-Lariat: 48 inches or more; unattached ends for knotting or wrapping around the neck
