I started out selling baby bibs and burp cloths under the label Upsiedoodle in 2002. I was buying my fabric at retail prices, and as my business grew, I knew I needed to be able to cut my materials costs in order to keep the costs down for my customers. I opened my first wholesale account with Michael Miller. They required an 8 bolt minimum, and that was a HUGE expenditure for me at the time. I decided to sell my excess fabric on Etsy as The Fab Store. I have since opened up many more wholesale accounts, and have grown my collection considerably. I still sell baby gifts on my Upsiedoodle website, but my real passion is selling fabric. I recently upgraded the shelving in my studio so that I can accommodate twice as much fabric as before. My husband is currently working on database software that will help me to manage my inventory more effectively, making my order filling process faster and more accurate. My goal is to provide high quality fabrics at a great price, and with fast shipping.
