Welcome to The Green Griffin. Each bag, purse, or pocket starts as a used 100% wool sweater, most of which make their way into my hands via local thrift stores. The sweaters are washed and agitated in very hot water, causing the fibers to interlock, creating the felted fabrics that you see here.

I literally have a "conversation" with each creation, obsessing until I solve the puzzle each presents. As a result, every piece is one-of-a-kind. Care for your purchase as you would any fine woolen - wash by hand and reshape to dry.
