Welcome, friends to the Iron Dog Mercantile! This shop is proudly named after our ranch (The Iron Dog Ranch, 5 lovely acres in the rolling Loess Hills, located just outside of Honey Creek, Iowa), and the creations that have come out of there.

Angie Phillips is an accomplished painter, having sold hundreds of her “eerie” artworks to not only the US, but Canada, Isreal, Australia, England, France, Ireland and Spain, just to name a few. Her landscapes have been called “Haunting” and “Surreal” and appeal to people on many levels, which is why she has many collectors of her works. She combines color and form, creating skies that never end, trees that bend and hold moons that could only exist in her mind, and ultimately the worlds she creates.

While she also is known for her abstracts, her passion always comes back to those trees and the Iron Dog Mercantile is proud to feature them among the stores’ “first” official works.
