A vanilla jar sunny yellow as the island Bornholm where the pottery Soholm was situated 1835-1996.

The writing with a star at the beginning and end is the same as in another spice jar series "Rikke" by Poul Brandborg why there is reason to believe that both series are designed by him.

Stamped Made in Soholm Denmark. The number 1716 is referring to the form. Items like this was cast in a plaster mould.

CONDITION: It´s in a very good vintage condition with no remarks.

This blue and white riffled table bowl is made by Aksini which is short for Aksel Sigvald Nielsen (1910-1989). Aksel Sigvald Nielsen worked for Knabstrup pottery 1929 - 1954 before starting his own studio together with his son. The table bowl is part of a series which also includes different vases. The bowl is a rectangle shaped like a wave. A mid century piece.

CONDITION: It´s in a very fine vintage conditon with no damages.

This green tea light candle holder is from Danish Brigitte Andrzejak´s studio pottery situated at the island Moen in the southern part of Denmark. Brigitte Andrzejak treated the raw body in a way that it got a burnt look which makes her pieces very unique. She made several pieces with the clear green glaze.

This Danish candle holder for tea lights comes from a small studio pottery owned by Nis Stougaard (1906-1987). Stougaard was artistic leader at Soholm during the 1940´s. Later he established his own studio pottery in the small town Svaneke (Bornholm).
