Just like a European Flea Market or a Country Barn sale we offer you cherished treasures of beauty and rich history. We hunt all over the world as well as here in the California Gold Country for well loved items with a story. Surrounding yourself with beautiful treasures of history and design will make your life rich.
I am always willing to consider any reasonable offers and will discount any items that I am able to, so if you have any favorites please convo me with an offer.
It is always sad when something gets lost or broken in the mail, but in this day and age people are wanting to save money and insurance is looked at as an extra expense. I encourage an extra payment of $2.00 for insurance on most items. Please convo me re this if you have questions as I cannot be responsible for loss or breakage if you have decided insurance is not important.
Most of the items in our store have never been owned by a collector or been in an antique shop. They have come straight from the families and farms that have used them and stored them away in their attics, barns and woodsheds for decades. They are real things that were used by real people, so they are not going to be perfect. You should expect them to have character. When we describe the condition, we mean compared to anything else that old. I will do my best to point out, either in the description and/or pictures, anything I notice that to me is significant. But, I can't mention every little thing. So, please look at the pictures and read the description carefully. If you need different views in the pictures or you have any questions, call or E-mail me before you buy. We will be happy to reply. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
I am also open to doing lay away with 1/3 down. Convo me with any questions. We are happy to do "lay-aways" on the more expensive items but because these terms usually are a process of a couple of months, these are the terms: 1. No refunds at all. 2. If you miss a payment and do not contact us we will assume you are not following through and after 3 weeks of no message from you we will return the item to our shop for a new buyer, with no payments being returned.
