I've discovered the wonderful world of
Punch Needle Embroidery.
I love the texture and feel of the stitches as I punch!
I hope to offer many new designs and patterns here.
Each one-of-a-kind creation is mounted in unique frames and vintage finds such as old wooden spools and canning jar lids.
I hope you like them!!

Punch Needle Embroidery is achieved using a special hollow needle that has an eye in which to thread wool or cotton floss. This thread is 'punched' onto weaver's cloth, wool or any closely woven fabric that is kept taut on a special hoop or frame. Loops are formed on the 'right' side of the fabric to create a design that's been printed on the 'wrong' side.

All of my pieces are original designs punched on weaver's cloth, wool or homespun fabric. I use quality wool or acrylic threads. Each piece is signed and dated by The Punchin' Fool [that's me!].
