Each plate and magnet depict a current Justice of the Supreme Court, is related to a specific case in the American jurisprudential cannon, or represents a First Lady of the US. The plates depicting case law trace four distinct doctrines: Habeas Corpus (executive detention), First Amendment (speech that causes harm), the Interstate Commerce Clause, and Punitive Damages.
