Welcome to my Etsy location:
For the past 10 years, my hand embroidered textiles have featured naturally dyed silk floss with linen and hemp fabrics.
Many of my projects are custom work; curtain panels, table coverings, bedcoverings, cushions- the list goes on. About nine years ago I started offering kits so crafters could embroider pieces themselves- the naturally dyed silk is such a joy to hold in your hands!
My work is influenced by early 20th century designers, primarily the Glasgow Girls, a group of wildly creative and far thinking women of Scotland. For more information about my textiles, and the Glasgow artists, see my website www.thistlehandwerks.com
