Thistle Hill Handmade Goat Milk Soaps

thistlehill's Shop Announcement

In the high desert of southern Utah I tend a small herd of goats. A tough little group - have to be in this environment. But they thrive here and supply me with sweet, rich milk for my soap.

As you can imagine I put quite a bit of time & effort into the milk part of my soap so I'm not willing to compromise on the other ingredients. Tweaking and changing over the years. Working out the perfect proportions of oils to get the right balance of conditioning and cleansing. Experimenting with combinations of essential or fragrance oils to get the scents just right. Combinations of shea butter, olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil and more make my soap rich and decadant. Leaving your skin feeling soft and clean - not tight and irritated. I don't do exotic shapes or add any dyes or colorants. I put all my time and effort into making an honest, skin nurturing bar of soap. The only extra I splurge on is scent and I have found that aromatherapy can play a big role in the state of your mind. That's a well proven fact and important to your well-being. That's why, just like I do with my oils, the essential and fragrance oils that I use are the best quality I can find.
