Each day I do a new painting as a practice of meditation and contemplation through visual journaling. These works are a reminder that beauty is available everywhere, you just have to pay attention! Each oil painting is done on stretched canvas, and completed on-site in the Plein Air style of painting, which means “in the open air,” and thus represent a direct experience from that particular day. In a nod to simplicity and treading lightly, I work from a traveling studio in the form of a backpack. From the desire to offer affordable original artwork, these paintings are priced between $30 and $40. A wooden display easel is available for an additional $2. If you'd like an easel, make sure to include this as a note in your order.
