ONCE, there was a girl, 5 years old. She loved her grandmas typewriter so much and always wanted to write stories on it. But her grandma told her, she should learn writing and reading first. So she did. And then she experienced the wonderful and overwhelming beauty of words.
Then, this girl saw her grandma (who always worked with children) crafting. And she asked her to teach her how to craft. That's how she learned to use her hands to produce beauty. She was taught to respect and love handmade things and that's how she grew up, surrounded by pretty handmade.
I am that girl. I love handmade.
