Toiluxe, brought to you by Boston area artist Stephanie Ziobro could possibly be the best thing to hit your bathroom since two-ply toilet paper. Realizing that the bathroom is the smallest yet easiest room in your place to decorate with eclectic flair, Toiluxe can custom design toilet seats to tickle the fancy of your fanny with artwork ranging from elegant to outrageous to anything your derriere desires.

Toiluxe is one of a kind “functional” art, using an original medium - toilet seats. Each seat is hand-painted and cured with an acrylic sealer to prevent water damage. Toilet seat mounting hardware is included, however feel free to mount this unique piece of art outside of the bathroom. Hang on your wall, over the peep hole of your door, where ever you see fit.

Since each Toiluxe seat is “made to order” no design is an exact duplicate of another. Customers may purchase pre-made seats or custom design their own seat to match their pre-existing décor. Custom orders have ranged from Alice Cooper to corporate logos, Chuck Norris to Charles Darwin. No request is too outrageous and any vision you have can be applied to your most useful seat in the house.

Welcome

Toiluxe is the cornerstone of bathroom art, using toilet seats. Each seat is hand-painted and decoupaged and cured with an acrylic sealer to prevent water damage. No design is an exact duplicate of another.

Each seat is standard size - if you have an elongated or unusually-shaped toilet seat, please contact me. Elongated seats can be accomodated for an additional $9.00.

Not sure what kind of toilet seat you have? Instructions on how to figure out the size of your seat is at the bottom of this page.

Custom orders are always welcome. Generally each seat takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks to complete. Please feel free to contact me regarding special requests at custom_seat [!at] toiluxe.com.

If you want to order a seat but don't want to sign up for an Etsy account (required by etsy), please feel free so send an email to orders [!at] toiluxe.com and you will receive an invoice for payment.

Payment

Payments may be made via check, money order, credit card or PayPal. A seat will not be shipped until the payment has cleared. Payments must be made within 7 days of purchase.

Shipping

All seats are shipped UPS Ground. If you require a faster shipping speed additional charges will apply.

Refunds and Exchanges

Should you need to return or exchange a seat you will be charged an additional $10 shipping fee. The seat must not have been used or damaged in any way. If any damage occurs in the shipment of the seat TO the buyer, the seat must be returned within 7 days and the re-shipping fee of a new seat will be waived.

Custom Seats may only be returned or exchanged if damage occurred during original shipping.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Each seat is made to order, so there may be slight differences in the actual seat as to what is shown in the photo - mainly the inside image or slight differences in the fringe. There are 2 reasons for this: 1. Each seat is one-of-a-kind and I feel the small differences help keep each one more unique than the last and 2. The fringe shown in some of the photos has been discontinued so I need to improvise. Don't worry, you won't find yourself with a fluffy boa fringe if you ordered a seat with beaded fringe - I try to keep the styles in the same family. If it is very important that the seat you order be exactly what you see in the photo, please email me upon ordering.


SEATS ON SALE
All seats in the Sale section are sold as is. If any customizations to the design or structure are required, the seat is then sold at the regular price.



SIZES: Round vs Oblong/Elongated

There are really only 2 sizes you need to concern yourself with: "round" or "oblong". Generally, it is easy to tell just by looking whether you have a round or oblong shaped toilet. If you prefer to measure, just to be sure, then measure from the front of the bowl to the middle of the screws at the back of the bowl/lid area. Here are the standard toilet bowl sizes:

* Round Toilet Bowl: 16.5 inches
* Oblong/Elongated Toilet Bowl: 18.5 inches

What does vary is the width of the bowl from side to side. But it's usually not enough to worry about, as most standard size toilet seats and lids will cover most toilet bowls, even if they're slightly narrower or even wider than the next one.
