Welcome to A Work of Heart. Each piece of jewelry was crafted with a specific look in mind although, how they begin is not always how they end up! These pieces are all one-of-a-kind handmade and my heart is put into each one. I like to work with different kinds of material but one of my very favorites to work with is metal. You will see that I use a lot of fresh water pearls. They are classy and elegant yet not too expensive, which keeps the cost of my jewelry down which then keeps the cost down for everyone. I love to wrap wire and can create some very unusual pieces of jewelry when I wire wrap. This is my hobby, an outlet that allows my creativity to flow. I am always on the lookout for old jewelry to incorporate. I love to recycle my cool old finds and I LOVE COLOR! You will notice that no two pieces are exactly alike and that is how I like it.

Spring has officially sprung here in KS and it has inspired some cool necklaces with custom made hand-wrapped flowers. I love these new pieces and hope that you do to.

Please let me know if there is a piece of jewelry that you like but would like in another color or if you would like for me to create something new as a gift. I can also do larger quantities of items for events. For example, if you are looking for just the right earring for a group that is going to be in your wedding, with your guidance, I can craft just the pieces that are as unique as your friends. MOTHERS DAY is right around the corner so get your mom one of my pieces. She will love it!

Also, I have added a section for "Tea Kettle Clutches". These fantastic hot pads are designed to keep your little mitts from getting scorched. We all know a good cup of tea is not so enjoyable with a scorched hand... these handy little pads are versatile as I also use them to handle hot pot handles and they are cute. Darn cute if you ask me. I am always making new clutches so sit tight for new colors!
