Welcome to my shop~~Turtle Trinkets! I specialize in jewelry remakes or pieces that just make you happy. I do custom work for weddings too!

Almost all of my pieces have my special trademark~~a turtle somewhere in the piece! Why a turtle?

A turtle is a symbol of many things, sometimes of patience and of Mother Earth. The American Indians believed that it was connected with lunar power and, therefore, strongly associated with female energies.

The turtle is a known sea animal, but also roams the Earth, both considered to be the doorways to the fairy world. Many people also believe that the sign of the turtle was a sign of the gift of heaven's blessings.

What ever is the case, I do know this fact...the turtle is my five-year-old grandson's most favorite of animals (he has his very own stuffed one that he was never without when he was smaller) and his birth was one of heaven's most recent and special gifts to me.

I use mostly gemstones integrated in Swarovski crystals in my pieces and I love to include the reputed healing power of the stones I do use. Whether you believe in them or not, they are still fun and interesting to read!

I use a standard shipping cost based on the actual cost of the item. In order to make listing items easier, I have tried to estimate the cost as closely as possible to what I think a good average is for most items and just use that in all of my item descriptions, but if you think this might be incorrect for the item you have purchased (a pair of earrings for example), please e-mail me prior to purchasing and I will be glad to give you the exact cost of shipping.
