Twisted Sunshine uses both acid and natural dyes to create unique colorways for your spinning, felting, knitting and crochet pleasure. We specialize in silk blends, my personal favorite is the merino/ silk 50/50 blend. Please check out our high quality rovings, yarns, batts, top, locks and jewelry for the fiber artist. We use hand prepare some of our fibers as well as use commercial top and roving. Our batts are multi media and perfect for spinning art yarns. I love getting my hands dirty (ignore the dye stains on my hands and don't look under my fingernails!) to dye and create colorways. I have gone from being a serial crafter to a freak for anything fiber - come and join the fun.

Only food grade mordants are used with natural dyes and whenever possible, especially in the warmer spring and summer months, solar power is used to provide the heat needed for the dying process. We recycle, compost and reuse to minimize the impact on the environment. We are passionate about fiber and crafting, as well as minimizing our impact on the environment.
