Each beach stone is personally selected near the Lake Michigan shoreline, and hand drilled. Most stones are buffed with mineral oil, hand salve or hand lotion. This is a method that has been used by local stone collectors for many, many years. Although this method keeps the stones in their natural state, and allows for beautiful color and markings, it is not permanent. If you wish to keep this color and shine, you will need to occasionally rub stone with lotion or oil.

You will also find a few stones that are hand polished. Stones that are polished have a permanent shine. Most of the stones that are polished have a matte finish. This allows for a more natural look.

On occasion, I will offer handcrafted jewelry. Each piece of jewelry listed, has been carefully handcrafted. I use either 925 sterling silver or silver plated findings, and each listing will state what has been used.

All stones are personally collected following Federal and State Paleontology laws, being careful to preserve the lake shore.
