Why Urban Driftwood? I think that things come in & out of our hands in our day to day life that have no significance, but reformed, reworked & repurposed they can be made into something special. If you are walking along with me, you will often have to stop, while I pick up a feather, or a squashed bottle top, an odd shaped piece of plastic or something colourful that is beyond recognition, but of an interesting shape.

Unique handmade treasures make everyday moments special – they induce a smile when you see them, they create warmth when you feel them and often, their presence permeates your life space with joy. I LOVE designing one of a kind treasures and get as much pleasure out of creating them, as I do having them.

My insatiable need to create is never satisfied with one medium – and quite frankly, though I keep a good smattering of my creations, I certainly can’t either 1. keep them all OR 2. Stop creating……….. SO – I am sharing my art journey with you, offering my makings to become part of your life story and your home.
