I try to capture moods and feelings in my paintings and do so with tiny little micro brushes. Sometimes just one little intuitive stroke can make or break the feeling in a painting. Each ACEO painting is a little work-in-progress for sometimes up to an hour-and-a-half or until it just feels right.

I will often place a finished painting in an area where I can see it several times for a day or so and then possibly add just another little touch here or there. After the painting is finished, two light coats of varnish are added for protection.
