Verveine Designs is my way of creating something beautiful out of scrap material that would otherwise be thrown away. I create jewelry that is eco-friendly and made from sustainable sources. My pieces feature hand fabricated elements formed from repurposed aluminum soda cans and richly designed papers. I utilize my own unique and innovative process to capture the beauty of origami papers in wearer friendly designs. The organic beauty of plants and nature inspires me, and I adore the orderliness of the geometric shapes and repeating patterns in the origami paper. Customers love the wide variety of colors, styles, textures, and that my jewelry is light and easy to wear. They especially love being able to wear something they find beautiful that is also eco-friendly. I am committed to using repurposed and recycled materials in each hand crafted piece. Each jewelry piece is finished with sterling silver findings made from recycled silver. The finished elements have a protective coating, making them water resistant. Each of my pieces is truly everyday wearable art.
