I'm a YouTube grunt and while lurking the other day I came across a video titled: Domani 21 04 09 (bear with me here. the story seems long; but it has a point.).

It documents a group of Italian artists who came together to create the SAVE THE ART IN ABRUZZO video.

Abruzzo is a region in Central Italy; and if you'll remember the news it was hit with a 6+ magnitude earthquake on April 21 of this year that left 66,000 people homeless. The Domani 21 04 09 is really wonderful. While I don't understand the language you can see musicians and artists from all genres who came together to support something about which they care greatly. The point of this story is that one of the artists (the list of artists accompanies the video) really caught my ear. I mean REALLY, REALLY caught my attention. His name is Zucchero "Sugar" Fornaciari. So with proper internet-junky enthusiasm I went out and found his music. His songs are available on ITunes and cds are for sale on Amazon.com. A few of my favorites that I've purchased so far are: Wonderful Life, Feels Like A Woman (this song makes me melt!), and Baila Morena (it'll get your butt off the couch!) as will Per Colpa di Chi?...I could go on and on. Some of his songs are in English; most are in Italian...BUT WHO CARES!!! I'm quite enamoured, I must say. So please...if you enjoy discovering amazing music...check him out. He also has videos on YouTube too. And the song Domani 21 04 09 is also for sale on ITunes...I'm going to assume that a portion of the sales go the the charity SAVE THE ART IN ABRUZZO.
