welcome to vintage hippie chic... c'mon in, browse awhile, and make yourself at home among the many well-loved treasures i've collected over the last thirty, okay, make that forty years...
raised by a gypsy (aka bangle wearing artist/dreamer/believer), i was taught to seek the beauty in all people and all things... and to listen to the story they tell... fortunately, i was also taught how to locate the best thrift shop in any given town, how to find unadvertised estate sales, how to scavenge through 'as is' yards, alleyways, curbside give aways, and most importantly how to spot a diamond in a sea of dust...
i'm a painter by trade, so my 'finds' often become props for my work or subject matter for photos i take when preparing to do a new piece... i tend to bond with the treasures i find and feel an emotional connection to their story, but after so many years of gathering i've now amassed three storage units full, as well as a two car garage, and let's not even get into the overflow in my studio and my home... so clearly it's time to make room in my head and in my life... and to share these treasures with you...
