All of the work is food safe unless otherwise noted in the listing. As with ALL handmade ceramics, I do not recommend putting them in the oven, microwave or dishwasher. Although these handmade dishes are strong stoneware and sturdy porcelain, they need to be handled with care. It is the extreme and sudden changes in temperature that is not good for the ceramics and should be avoided as it may result in cracking. Smaller dishes and cups can be put into the dishwasher on the delicate cycle only.
