Volta Press specializes in creating unique, high-quality printed works that range from letterpressed cards and invitations to hand-made artists' books and broadsides. Each of our projects is born and realized in-house, and we draw on a variety of aesthetic tools, including printmaking, book arts, design, and illustration.

Our creative credo has everything to do with combining the classic and the modern: letterpress and digital imaging, hand-drawing and graphic design, hand-sewn books and image transfers. Thus, the nature of our name and our pursuit of new, exciting, and innovative printmaking.
