voxkill's Shop Policies
I have an affinity for all things hand-crafted, recycled, reused, and refurbished. This has resulted in a finely-tuned aesthetic sense regarding vintage items. All of the items I place on vox.kill have been carefully hand-picked and/or hand-made myself for your enjoyment.
I believe that these objects speak for themselves, and that even in their most minute details, they exhibit a sort of brusque charm that new, machine-manufactured objects often lack. Your purchase guarantees you a one-of-a-kind object, itself unlike any other in the entire universe (either due to it's hand-made nature or it's history as a vintage object).
Regarding vox.kill vintage objects: these treasures often have discolorations, small imperfections, signs of wear, or other oddities [which I always note both in the photographing and verbal descriptions of each item] and are, at times, in less than impeccable condition. I will honestly state any and all such items in the description of vintage re-sell objects.
I accept credit card and PayPal as forms of payment at this time. If you want to make a purchase but don't have a PayPal account, don't fret: you DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card! At checkout, click "Pay With PayPal," and you will then be redirected to the PayPal site - if you have PayPal, now is the time to log in! If you DO NOT have PayPal, simply click "Continue," and you can pay using your credit card.
I will always wait for payment to clear before processing your order. If, for any reason, payment has not posted after five(5) business days, I reserve the right to cancel your order.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact me as soon as possible - as I try to ship items immediately upon receipt of payment, it's possible that your order will already be merrily on its way to you before you get the chance to cancel!
I ship via USPS and will always try to provide you with the most price-conscious shipping option possible. If you have a question about shipping cost, please contact me BEFORE placing an order. Small, less breakable items will ship in padded envelopes when appropriate. I use a combination of new/slightly used boxes and packaging for all other items. As some of the items I ship are refurbished, I believe their packaging should be recycled, too. If you prefer a new box or specific packaging materials, just write me a note with your order.
Upon receipt of payment, I typically ship your purchase(s) to you within two(2) business days. If there is to be a delay on my end, I will notify you by email. I will ship to the address provided to me in your invoice. If you want your purchase shipped elsewhere, please notify me ASAP - if I ship your purchase to a wrong address, or it comes back to me for a mistake in address, I reserve the right to cancel your order.
I INCLUDE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION WITH ALL ORDERS! This provides both me and you with a tracking number for your order.
The following services are available but are NOT customary with your purchase:
+Shipping via carrier other than USPS (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
If interested in any of these options, please contact me BEFORE purchase if possible so that I can provide you with an accurate shipping quote. I have no problem doing the leg work for you in determining shipping costs, as long as you do me the courtesy of making special requests before making a purchase!
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: I am delighted to ship items all over the world! I can't always provide an accurate shipping quote without first knowing your exact location, so please, as a courtesy to me and as a favor to yourself, contact me BEFORE placing an order with your shipping address so that I can provide you with any/all shipping charges you will incur. If you are an international customer and you DO NOT contact me regarding shipping charges, I reserve the right to charge you more than the quoted international price. International buyers are responsible for any and all duties/customs charges that may be incurred. If you have concerns, contact me before purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
As I deal primarily with vintage/hand-made/refurbished goods, I unfortunately cannot always guarantee the longevity of the items I sell.
However, if you are unhappy with a purchase due to some fault of my own, like the colors weren't as described, or the dimensions quoted were wrong, or there were some defects in an object not mentioned, I will hastily work out an agreement in terms of immediate refund/trade/barter that we have mutually agreed upon!
I know all too well that sometimes things break or lose their way on the shipping journey, becoming unfortunate causalities of the US Postal System. While these things are beyond both my and your control, I will make every effort to right such situations on an individual basis. REMEMBER that you ALWAYS have the option to shipping insurance!

Aside from all the lengthy legalities, I just want you to enjoy peace of mind and share my excitement of these goods. I want you to be as excited about receiving your package in the mail as I am about recreating and discovering new beauty in old items.
These policies are to serve as general guidelines which can, and will, be bended whenever necessary. I will always work with you to make your purchasing and shipping from me a breeze, so please do not hesitate to contact me with ANY questions before or during the ordering process.
