About the prints I make
-------------------------------------------------------------
The prints in my store are Giclée prints. (What Giclée means: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gicl%C3%A9e) Each print is created for you custom to order. I use an Epson professional printer and Epson's UltraChrome K3 inks . This is an 8-color, pigment-based ink system that offers superior prints of stunning quality.

Limited Edition vs. Open Edition prints
-------------------------------------------------------------
My prints are "open edition" prints. The main difference between Limited Edition and Open Edition is that there is no cap to the number of prints I can make of a specific image, so therefore the prints are not numbered. I still sign the prints, and the quality of the print is exactly the same as any limited edition print I would put out.
Selling open edition prints allows me to keep the price more reasonable, because I don't have a certain number of prints in mind that I have to sell in order to meet a predetermined profit margin. It also allows me to keep the image in circulation and readily available, as an original art print and at a specific size, for as long as I choose to keep it that way or until I personally decide to retire it, regardless of how many (or how few) prints have been made of the art.
For artists, there are clear benefits to producing Limited Editions. We can charge more per print, and of course there is the "urgency" factor since there is a limited number made. Both reasons are fair and legit. But it's my personal choice to offer Open Edition prints instead. When I look at the benefits that both I and the end buyer enjoy with Open Edition prints, it's what makes the most sense for me.

About the packaging

Your prints are packaged with care in my studio. Inside the outer packaging, I protect your print with 4-ply acid-free backing board and a protective clear cello sleeve.
I use recycled mailers whenever possible. Rest assured your items are always packaged with care for their travels, no matter how far.

Order minimum: $150 first order, $100 reorder
What I sell wholesale:
I can sell prints and printed goods, and possibly some other items depending on what you'd like
Archival Art Prints: Minimum of 3 per design
Greeting cards & other paper goods: Minimum of 6 per design
What I do not sell wholesale:
Original art pieces and most one-of-a-kind pieces.
How To Order:
We can communicate here about what you'd like, and then I can create a reserved, custom listing for you on Etsy.
Shipping cost: Actual cost of USPS first class or priority shipping plus tracking and insurance. (Billed separately on ship.)
For resellers, I request a copy of your resale certificate, business license or state tax resellers permit before we work together.
Turnaround time is dependent on the time of year, current stock, and current state of other orders before yours. I can provide a rough estimate for you before order.

Payment
I accept payments through Paypal. Paypal takes MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and electronic checking account transfers. You don't need to have a Paypal account in order to use Paypal.
MA State residents: MA State tax (6.25%) is added to each order upon checkout.
Shipping
Shipping and handling
I ship using USPS First Class (if eligible) or Priority Mail. If you prefer Fed Ex or UPS, please let me know and I can arrange that for you for additional cost. For international orders, I ship using USPS.
Shipping time line
Prints take a couple of days to cure once printed, and each is custom-printed just for you, so please allow up to 4 days to ship. Domestic orders should arrive within about a week post-shipping. International will take longer. In every case, I can provide a date of shipment for you.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are quoted in each listing. If you are buying more than one item, the shipping cost of the higher item prevails.
Refunds and Exchanges
Damaged Arrivals, No Arrivals, and Returns
I'm sorry but I cannot offer refunds on art prints. In the case that your print arrives damaged (or not at all), please email me within 3 days of receipt of your order and I will be happy to make things right for you. :D
