Welcome to When Skies Are Gray! I'm Sam, and I make everything you see here! I'm a stay-at-home mother of a very energetic 2-year old, and I love to create things in my (very limited) down time. As a mom, I love one-of-a-kind toys, and I definitely LOVE quiet toys! So I set out to create toys and gifts that are unique, whimsical, soft, and cuddly. My favorite things to make are my crocheted dolls -- I call them "Graybees", and they make me smile! I also make play food, rattles, purses, accessories and finger puppets.
