a true child of the eighties, i was practically born with a glue gun in my hand… my entire existence has revolved around my innate desire to create. i love to adorn the ordinary, manipulate the mundane, and simplify the eccentric (yes, i am a walking paradox)… my artesian flare has been passed down through generations of clever brunettes. my life has been spent gazing in awe of my mother’s instinctive capability to achieve every design challenge she has embarked upon with style and grace. my nest has long been littered with fabric… from Mama Huskey’s old linens & estate sale treasures of woven memories, to the new all-natural beauty of fabrics created by the likes of ms. amy butler and mr. joel dewberry… i have always found a resounding pleasure in stockpiling textiles of all sorts. before long, i discovered why… God has blessed me with the creative ability to whisk up objects that inspire… my hope is that these handiworks leave you “wide eyed”… full of ideas and enjoyment… holly rae…
