I make handspun, hand-dyed wool yarns here in the snowy Arizona north. I select my wool as raw fleeces from American farmers, often choosing fleece from a particular animal as well. It's interesting to be on a first-name basis with your fiber source! You can be sure the yarn you get is "made from scratch"... but not scratchy!
I design yarn with a particular end-use in mind, which is often dictated by the breed of sheep the wool comes from. I hand-dye my yarn myself. This is a fun part of yarn creation, since you never quite know what you are going to get until you get it!
All yarn is sold in skeins. If you wish to have your yarn wound into a center-pull ball, just let me know.
