*Thanks for reading my shop policies. All items are made in a smoke-free and no pet environment. However, those with severe pet allergies should be aware two cats live in the same building that the studio is in. Let me know if you have any questions.
*Sustainability Information:
Your high quality, long-lasting item was produced in a studio that uses efficient and creative methods to use, recycle, or upcycle as much as possible that comes within its doors.
The vegan fleece fabric is made with up to 89% post-consumer recycled polyester content. Trying to keep those landfills empty :)
Remember, each item is handmade with care in my Pittsburgh, PA studio. Slight variations are the signs of an item with a great personality that helps support a burgeoning creative arts business. Thanks for your support!

Payment
Xmittens prefers Paypal as payment for purchases. Payment is due at time of purchase. Xmittens reserves the right to cancel a sale and re-list after 24 hours of non-payment.
Xmittens also accepts check and money order payment from US customers only when notified BEFORE purchase. Please convo Xmittens first before using these payment options. Checks and Money Orders need to be received and cashed before items will be mailed.
If you request a Reserved listing be listed for you, please buy within 24 hours.
If you have a discount code, please type it into the message to seller when checking out and wait for a revised Paypal invoice. Discount is taken from cost of item, not shipping costs.
Shipping
Shipping for ready to post items is on its normal schedule of 2x per week on Tuesdays and Fridays for domestic U.S shipments and Fridays ONLY for international shipments. I will let you know within 36 hours of purchase of your item's shipping date.
If you need faster shipping, contact me. Usually, I can help you out, though there may be extra shipping charges.
All packages shipped to a destination in the US will be shipped using USPS First Class, or USPS Priority mail. All international orders will be shipped First Class International. Any custom duties are the customer's responsibility.
If your item(s) are made-to-order or custom, I will be in touch about a shipping date.
Just ask to be upgraded to another shipping method if you need to. An upgrade fee will be charged via Paypal invoice.
Xmittens cannot be held responsible for any lost packages. However, Xmittens will help you track down any wily shipments.
Recycled packaging will be used if possible. I do not include a packing slip unless you ask me to (or when I am required to by law). Just let me know before I ship if you want one!
Refunds and Exchanges
Return + Exchange Policy: Xmittens will be happy to accept a return of any unworn, unwashed, undamaged items, or exchange for another item of equal value, for 1 week after you have received the item. Customer is responsible for postage on all exchanges and returns.
No Refunds on custom orders.

JANUARY 2012= no custom orders. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Any special requests are charged a minimum (and very small) $3 fee to cover my extra labor. Your custom fee will be determined by the extent of labor and extra materials your request will require and may be larger than the minimum fee.
That being said, let me know if you would like something different than what you see in my shop. I am very open to custom and special order requests!

Not all listings have measurements available. Interested customers can simply contact me to get them. Please no copy artists!
TEEN/ADULT SIZING ONLY
**Regular Length Xmittens**
measurement of palm width (from edge of palm under pinky finger to edge of palm under index finger on one side of your hand only) = size
2.5"-3" = Xtra Small 6.4 cm - 7.6 cm
3"-3.5" = Small 7.6 cm - 8.9 cm
3.5"- 4" = Medium 8.9 cm- 10.2 cm
4"- 4.5" = Large 10.2 cm- 11. 4 cm
4.5" - 5" = Xtra Large (mostly only available made-to-order)
5" + = Custom Order
If in doubt, buy a LARGE for men. Petite women will most likely be a small, while average women will be a medium. If you can never find gloves that fit because they are all too big, measure your palm and contact me for an extra small size pair of Xmittens.
Each pair of Xmittens varies slightly in length, but will be in the 6"-7" TOTAL Length range.
**Xtra long Xmittens**
Standard Extra Long Xmittens measure about 14" long which will be just before the elbow for most people. The finger covering part of the Xmittens will be about 1.75" long.
