I'm Claire Walker, I live in Cape Town, South Africa, and spend my time making things, walking my dogs on the mountain and taking care of my kids.
My favourite activity is putting all sorts of different bits together to make a whole new thing. I love recycling old thrown-out stuff into something new and useful and pretty. I especially love old dusty books and the thrill of giving them a new life, and allowing them to be appreciated once more.

For domestic and international orders, I use the South African Post Office. The shipping rates quoted for international orders are for registered airmail, which includes a $2 tracking fee.
If you need your order to arrive sooner, I can arrange faster shipping via courier, but will can only quote on a case by case basis, as fees are determined by size and weight.
Everything in my shop is made to order, so I have a turnaround time of 14 days, if the transaction takes place over a weekend, this time is counted from Monday morning. Shipping from South Africa to anywhere else in the world takes between 7 and 10 days.
I will happily ship straight to a gift recipient as well as include a personal note as requested, just leave me the info in the note to seller at checkout.
You can rest assured that I always do my very best to get your order made up as soon as possible. If you are in a rush for an item, you can let me know and I'll try to get it done sooner.
Please remember that shipping around any holiday can be very unpredictable, so it's best to order your items in advance to avoid disappointment.

Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with the things you bought, you can return them to me. If they are still in the condition I sent them to you, I'll give you a refund on your purchase and initial shipping costs. You will however have to cover the return shipping costs yourself.
If an order doesn't arrive within 30 working days of sending, I will re-send a replacement order at my expense, but can only do this once.
