A great deal of time has been invested in seeking out pristine vintage pillowcases, searching for matching fabric, prewashing, allowing time to hang dry and ironing the material in preparation for design. Design is my favorite part…thinking, dreaming about how to construct the piece.

I wonder, who sat for hours hand embroidering and crocheting the pillowcase.
I wonder, if the artist passed down their skills, like my grandmother and mother passed their sewing skills to me.
Also, I wonder, how the artist would respond to my creation, what they would think.

Each dress has a story... A touch of history and mystery.

Quite honestly, I grow very attached to each outfit due to the amount work involved in sewing them.
