I think about the colours that appeal to me and what my buyers will enjoy working with. Constantly rethinking colour palettes and trying out new ideas. I want you to see my shop items and want to work with them. The best compliment for me is when buyers buy again!
I'm happy dyeing fibre or yarn, it's quite addictive. In fact fibre in all it's forms, batts, combed top,sheep etc! I just love it and yarn and what we can do with them. Being creative, making individual special things and I get a thrill from knowing my buyers enjoy their orders too and sometimes seeing what they creative from my fibre or yarn.
Texture along with colour is paramount.A different sheep breed can make such a different yarn. I like to explore and discover new types of fibre but especially enjoy introducing British Sheep breeds and in particular Rare or Endangered breeds Try them,you learn so much more when you do.
I spin, knit,weave, love to spin in the sunshine and take my wheels to Spain whenever I can and escape to the mountains there.When I'm home my shop is a huge part of my day. Do come in often and see what can inspire you!
