Alchemy Announcement
Alchemy is Etsy's system for requesting custom items. A buyer describes the item they would like and the seller responds with the details of the item they can create. Read about how Alchemy works in our Alchemy Overview.
"Alchemy" sounds a bit frightening and confusing, doesn't it? ;) But it's really just an easy way for YOU to ask ME and other sellers here to make something especially for you--a custom-made piece of jewelry, art, clothing or any number of wonderful handmade items! You can send ME a private request on this page. That means it's just me and you working together to design something truly unique. Then I get to make it for you at your specifications. Or, if you prefer, you can place your request in the main Alchemy page (get there by clicking "Alchemy" up at the top of this screen in the grey border) so lots of different sellers can compete for the chance to make something just for you. It's totally up to you! If you're still confused, don't worry--this is new feature and we're all learning about it together. You can always go to the Help section, the Forums or click the first paragraph on this page, where it reads "Alchemy Overview" in blue. The best part about this new feature: If you can dream it up, someone on etsy can make it a reality. That someone could be ME! It never hurts to ask, and I LOVE custom orders and special requests. I'm super-creative and love to bend the rules. Thanks for your time ;)
