Memory quilts are constructed from clothing of a passed loved one, babies clothes, grandma's clothes or aprons... There are unlimited ideas. .. quilts can be made from cotton clothing, flannel, baby receiving blankets, etc. I will work with the customer throughout the process and ensure that the item is to their liking and satisfaction.
A word of caution, please know that clothing items will be dismantled, cut up and used in the quilt blocks that make up the snuggle quilt. I also will add fabric of my own in situations where coordination of colors would enhance the outcome of the quilt. The price of the quilt is dependent upon the size of the quilt. Most memory quilts are not bed size, but the size of a throw upon the back of a chair or sofa.
I also will complete any uncompleted quilt, grandma's quilt blocks sitting in a box, turning your blocks into a treasured family heirloom.
