My youngest daughter has always grown more rapidly in length than in width, so I've always had to lengthen her pants to fit. She got so many compliments on her "fancy pants" that we began accepting custom orders.
Then, a few years ago, my brother passed away and when it came time to clean out his closet we were loath to discard his clothing. Instead, I turned most of them into bears, quilts and other special treasures for his children and other family members.
