Welcome

I have been flavoring and blending my own teas since 2002, after my favorite tea shop went out of business and I couldn't find my favorite chocolate tea any more! I researched extensively how to flavor and blend teas, and taught myself the art. I have been selling my own unique tea blends since 2004. I am fully licensed to handle and sell food products in my state.

Tea is one of my passions, so, I am driven to create the most flavorful teas; teas that excite and enliven the senses.

I am also an mixed media artist, an altered art artist, and a 'zinester. In other words, I dabble a little in a lot of different mediums!

Payment

I happily accept paypal.

I can also accept a mailed payment of check or money order, if you prefer. Please make payable to Anne Downen. Allow time for mailed payment to be received and cleared before order is processed and shipped.

Shipping

I ship to most countries, except for those that do not permit this type of product to be imported.

Orders are generally shipped within 24 hours of receipt of cleared payment. Sometimes delays occur, and I will notify you if there is an unforeseen delay in your order processing, you will be notified via email.

Each package is shipped via USPS Priority mail (or First Class for orders weighing under 13 ounces) with delivery confirmation at no additional charge (signature confirmation and/or insurance available upon request at an additional charge, please contact me before you place your order if you wish to purchase these services).

I prefer to ship via USPS Priority Mail, as I've found that parcel post to be unreliable in terms of time as well as overall care of the package by the postal system. This may mean that it costs a bit more to mail out your package, however, I believe that the extra cost is well worth it.

Shipping Rates: My shipping rates are priced to cover the cost of shipping to zone 8 from my location, plus 50 cents to cover the cost of packaging materials. Now, because it costs quite a bit less to ship to, say, zone 3 than it does to zone 8, there is a chance that you might be overcharged for shipping. In such a case, I will refund the difference to you upon processing your order. Thank you for understanding!

Refunds and Exchanges

Because tea is a food product, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges; however, it is my goal that everyone is pleased with their tea purchase. To that end, if, for some reason you are dissatisfied with your tea, please contact me immediately and I will work with you to make it right.

TEA: All of my teas are created from exclusively unique recipes, and crafted to be flavorful, fragrant and beautiful and certainly an experience that should not be missed. Weights & Measures: I sell my tea by weight, not volume. The full-size tins that I offer are sold to me as 4 ounce tins, however, with some of my bulkier teas, I can fit only 3 ounces, by weight, of tea into them. The same is true for my sampler-size tins (which are sold to me as 1 ounce tins, but with bulkier teas only hold between half an ounce to three-quarters of an ounce of tea) and my full-size refill bags (which are sold to me as 4 ounce bags, but with bulkier teas only hold 3 ounces). Please read each description carefully to know the weight of tea that you are purchasing.
