PinkBird Creations is a one woman operation committed to creating uncommon, limited edition wearable art. Right now I am only taking payments via PayPal and can currently only ship to addresses in the United States.

I like vintage things and things that are a bit worn or "lived in." "Wabi-Sabi" is one of my guiding principles. It's a Japanese term for a kind of beauty that is imperfect, transitory, and incomplete. It is about beauty that is hidden, subtle, and almost invisible at first glance. They are small wonders, and magic spells that open up the secret joys concealed in the passing moments of everyday routine.

I also have a goofy sense of humor. That is why you will find a lot of Creations made from toys and unexpected objects. It is just funny to me to wear recycled toys as earrings or vintage game pieces on a necklace These things are just spontaneous and natural. We may be too old to play with these toys but we haven't yet outgrown them.

I also (seriously) believe DIY craft can change the world! I'm not just trying to sell you my stuff, I'm trying to help change the way people view corporate culture, branding, and consumerism.

Handmade crafty stuff (art with a function) is also very personal. It's a wonderful feeling to know the name of the person who created the pants your wearing or the lip balm you use.

Please note: In our creations we often use "found" objects like game pieces or bottle caps. These game pieces and bottle caps are recycled--not reproduced. The brand name's used here are trademarked and owned by those brands. Our company is not affiliated with any of these brands and we acquired these tiles from unconnected sources.

Payment

I am only taking payments via PayPal; PayPal is the most secure form of online payment for both you and us. Millions and millions of people worldwide use it and it's very secure. They take all major credit cards and e-checks as well. It's the easiest way for everyone involved.

Shipping

Right now I am only taking payments via PayPal and can currently only ship to addresses in the United States. (If you live elsewhere, please email/convo me before making a purchase to see if I can ship to your country).

We usually do not ship on Saturdays, nor on any days when the Post Office is closed (i.e. Sundays, and national holidays).

Refunds and Exchanges

Currently, all sales are final.

I enjoy creating jewelry with the lovely little things in everyday life that we usually tend to pass up or toss aside. As I've said before, it's about beauty that is understated and almost invisible at first glance. We see some things so often that we begin to not see them anymore and they become just another part of our landscape. They are small wonders, which can open the secret joys hidden in our everyday lives.

When I use these "found" objects in my creations they are always recycled objects like toys, game pieces, or bottle caps. These toys, game pieces, and bottle caps are recycled--not reproduced.

The brand names used here are trademarked and owned by those brands. No affiliation or endorsement by the brands/trademark owners is made, implied or expressed and we acquired these objects from unconnected sources. These brand names are not and should not be confused with official merchandise.

Also, as stated before, toys, game pieces, or bottle caps, vintage new stock or recycled/used, may have slight scuffs, marks, dents or even a little rust on them. If I feel an object is too old or worn I will not use it in a piece.
