Welcome

I'm an etsy shopper as well as seller so I'll work hard to accommodate each buyer in the manner I like to be treated.

I will strive to photograph and describe the items I list as accurately as possible and will do my best to make sure that my crafts are attractive, clean and unique and my policies are concise and fair to all involved.

If there are any discrepancies between this policies page and those on an individual listing, the policies stated on the individual listing will apply because the listings are generally updated more often :)

Payment

I accept payment via Paypal or Google Checkout (select other and leave a note asking for an invoice)

I am very flexible about reserving items and setting up payment plans or layaway. I don't usually accept trades.

If we haven't prearranged something, payments (or notification of a mailed payment) are due within ten days of the etsy purchase. If no payment (or confirmation that payment has been mailed) by that time and I haven't received any communication with the buyer in that time I reserve the right to relist the item.

I am extremely flexible about extenuating circumstances though so all you have to do is contact me!

New Mexico residents will be charged 6.875% sales tax.

Shipping

**Please be sure your Etsy shipping address is correct, I only ship to the address listed in the Etsy transaction, not the one used in Paypal!**

Prices listed (unless otherwise noted on the listing) are for First Class mail within the US or for International Airmail. I will ship the item(s) within 2 weekdays of payment (or receipt and clearance of check).

Expedited shipping is available, just leave a "note to seller" and I will send you a corrected invoice via paypal. Within the US, Priority Mail (approximate delivery time of 2-3 business days) would be $ 4.85.

Please contact me for international expedited shipping rates or if your country is not listed for shipping rates.

Refunds and Exchanges

I will accept returns on any unused item in the same condition that I sent it to the buyer within 30 days of purchase.

Yarn that has been knit and frogged will be returned on a case by case basis.

To avoid abuse, the buyer will have to pay for the return shipping and use a tracking number and/or insured mail. I'm not responsible for return packages that have been lost in the mail, so tracking and insurance are recommended.

I will refund the cost of the yarn minus a 15% restocking fee to cover Etsy and Paypal fees as well as coverage for potential sales time lost.

If you feel that my yarn was grossly misrepresented and wasn't what you expected please contact me and we can discuss an exchange or revoking the restocking fee.

Really, I don't like being mean but I also don't like being taken advantage of.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I do my best do represent the colors and textures of the work as accurately as I can. Sometimes I need to enhance the lighting with an image program to make sure it looks as close as possible to the real thing.

The photos may look different on your monitor so if you're concerned and would like to see additional photos with new angles or an additional light source please just ask.

BALL WINDING SERVICE

My yarn is usually offered in skein or hank form. I'm always happy to wind the yarn into a center pull cake or ball, the buyer just has to leave a 'note to seller'

GIFT WRAPPING / SECRET SWAPS

I would be delighted to gift wrap your purchase and will include a cute note from an anonymous gifter for a swap. I'll even withhold or delay giving feedback so I won't give the game away if you like! Just leave a note to seller with the details!

KIT SERVICES

All of my roving is available as a "Learn to Spin Kit" (which would add the drop spindle and instructions) for an additional 12 dollars.

All of the aran or worsted weight yarn is available as a "Learn to Knit" Kit (which would add bamboo needles, instructions, and a takeout box) for an additional 12 dollars.

Convo or Email me at nolnoodleATcomcast.net and I can reserve the listing, have you purchase it via Etsy, and send a corrected invoice after you've purchased it. Or I can create a new special listing for you. Whatever you prefer.

SPINNING SERVICE AVAILABLE

I can custom spin any of my roving that's for sale. The cost and approximate yardage is usually included in the listing.

Generally a midweight worsted would be about twice the cost of the roving, bulky thick and thin yarn would be a little less, thinner yarn would be more and 2 ply would be about 3 times the cost of the roving.

Convo or Email me at nolnoodleATcomcast.net and I can reserve the roving, have you purchase it via Etsy, and send a corrected invoice when I've completed spinning the yarn. Or I can create a new special listing for you after I've spun the yarn.

I do not need a payment until I've finished the yarn and sent the photos to you for approval.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Care instructions for knit items and yarn will be provided for each object.

COLORFASTNESS

My yarn and roving is rinsed a *minimum* of five times, including a rinse with a mild shampoo and another with a mild conditioning agent.

However, some colors and dyes may run with the next few washings. This should not affect the quality of the colors.

If you feel that this is not the case and the yarn or fiber is faulty you can contact me about a return or exchange.

DUPLICATE ORDERS

I consider every piece I create to be a unique project. My knit and felted items in particular are definitely one of a kind!

But if you see a shade of yarn or fiber that you like I can probably make something similar for you, just ask!

ALLERGIES

Pets
This was made in a non-smoking house with (adorable) pets - specifically two dogs and three cats. Although the items are guaranteed to be clean I can't guarantee that there weren't some pet cuddles before getting down to the crafting.

Scents
I wash all fiber, yarn, and knit items in a light lavender baby shampoo and block items using a lavender scented linen spray. I also occasionally include a sachet of lavender as a "thank you" gift with orders.

Please let me know if you have any scent allergies and I'll re-rinse the yarn and will not include a sachet in your order.

I will leave feedback within a week or so of shipping. I base my feedback on the ease of communication and speed of payment. I would appreciate positive feedback if you feel that I've done a good job and you like my product.
