Hello! Thanks so much for visiting my shop. I am one of the progenitors of the handmade DIY revolution and have been making clothing and silkscreening since 2004. All items are handmade in my small studio in Brooklyn New York using top quality upcycled, sustainable, and beautiful materials. Each item is lovingly made by hand using hand-picked fabrics, threads, and inks, and done with the greatest attention to detail taken.

FAQS: (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)

**Do you ship worldwide? Yes! My prices are based on the cheapest USPS prices I can offer.

**Do you make clothing in other colors and sizes than what you have on your site?

Yes! I love doing custom work, please contact me regarding any ideas you have. I have done over 300 custom orders that were as simple as changing the color of an existing piece and as extreme as making wild cocktail dresses from drawings.

**Can I return something?

Yes, I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me first and arranges for shipment back to me within one week of receiving the item. The purchase must be unworn and in the condition in which it was sent to the buyer. Buyer pays for all shipping. No refunds. In shop exchange or credit only. I have excellent feedback and do my best to make everything perfectly, well-tailored, and top notch.


**If I don't fit into your sizes, can I still have something made?

Yes! Again, I do custom work and want to make sure every *body* is accommodated. I will fit anyone, as long as materials are available and/or the design will work for that body type.

**Do you make guys clothing?

Yes! And a new line is being unveiled this Fall 09.

** Can I choose a different fabric than what you have?

PRICING
I am one human running my own company in NYC. I am Italian and Italians love top quality designer fabrics and top notch tailoring. I only make and sell clothing I am proud of and would wear myself. You deserve the best quality, and so that's all I offer. Please consider the amount of work that goes into a company run by one person--- design, pattern-making, construction and finishing, photography, item listing, emailing and correspondence, boutique contacting, ordering, et al. PHEW. I do it all. You're paying for a top notch quality truly handmade piece of love that was made by my two loving hands. You pay for quality, time, and good design. Consider how Urb_n Outfitt_rs has a tribe of not-really-paid workers overseas making their clothing for .15 and then selling it for $75.... that ain't ethical. GO ETHICAL GO HANDMADE

Payment

Payment must be made either by Paypal, check, or money order. Receipt of payment must be made within three days of a sale or else, the item will be relisted. UNLESS, the buyer contacts me with a tale of woe and I will wait !
Please be sure to pay at the time of purchase. If you are having any problems paying please contact me. I will be more than happy to help you.

If there is no payment or contact within three days, I'm going to have to void the sale and relist the item so someone else can get your treat.

• S A L E S T A X •
NY and NYC residents are subject to paying 8.375% sales tax on items over $110. This tax will be added to your PayPal bill.

Shipping

I run this whole company by myself. Your patience will be graciously rewarded.
Current wait time for made to order orders is two-three weeks. Please order with that in mind. Ready to ship items are marked as such and will be shipped once your payment has cleared, which is usually 3-4 days. Thanks so much!

••A D D R E S S••
Your PayPal address MUST match your Etsy address. If it does not, I will ship it to your PayPal address listed, as all shipping is done via PayPal. If you need special arrangements for your item(s) to be shipped anyplace other than your PayPal address, please let me know in writing ( email ), rather than just adding it into a message at the end of your payment confirmation. Items shipped to the wrong address are the fault of the buyer's failure to comply with this rule and will not be reimbursed or replaced.

••T I M E••
Sometimes I get really swamped with orders. Since I am a one woman factory, I implore you to be patient. After I receive your payment your purchase will be shipped within five days of the sale, unless the item is made to order. Please allow two weeks for made to order items.

These things take time to handcraft and package and tag and write a little note and send off. Think about everything that goes on at an office. Now put all those tasks on one person! Don't get me wrong, I love it!! THANK YOU!!!

Items are shipped USPS Priority mail unless it would be much cheaper to ship via USPS First Class, as it is to Canada. Faster shipping methods are available upon request.

International Shipping:
Please be prepared to pay a slightly higher fee for shipping, as it is impossible to list how much an item will cost to "everywhere else". I live in the United States and will use the least expensive shipping option for your wallet, yet will also keep time in mind. (i.e. I won't ship ground, which takes months) International shipping is not guaranteed, so keep in mind that I will do everything within my power to get the item to you, yet outside of the U.S. it's impossible to track an item. I have never had a problem with international shipping in the dozens of transactions all over the world though. I just need to add a disclaimer! :o)

Refunds and Exchanges

I cannot do Returns. In shop exchange or credit only. I have excellent feedback and do my best to make everything perfectly, well-tailored, and top notch. Please check all measurements prior to purchase.

NOT YOUR FIT?
Custom and made to order items that have a problem caused on my end (too long or too big, etc.) can be returned to be repaired.

Sale items and custom orders are non returnable and non refundable, no exceptions.

I wish I could go faster, but I am one person running a business and making everything by hand, answering copious conversations, fabric shopping, shipping, etc. Lots to do.
I take great pride in my work and make sure that the quality of my clothing is top notch. I have had the great fortune of selling well on Etsy and this has created a rather daunting queue for me. My customers, in turn, get a custom personalized garment that is especially for them (you) and to your measurements.

••CUSTOM WORK AND WHOLESALE••
I have done over one hundred couture and custom orders to date.
I always do custom orders, unless a material is not available any longer due to a vintage nature. Please be prepared to pay AT LEAST $20 more for every custom order, this includes change of fabric, color, or added elements such as sleeves, length, buttons, zippers, etc.

I custom fit to a T and have done over 50 custom orders to date. No matter the size or the qualm, I will make you look fantastic, so don't be shy.

Disclaimer about color: All computer monitors are different, therefore a color might not be exactly the same on your screen as it is in real life.
