Hi,
I'm so glad you stopped in to see my shop - Always Wired Bead Lady. It took me a while to come up with my business name but with a 'little help from my friends' -- lo and behold, this is what we all arrived at.

I love jewelry -- designing it and wearing it. Whether it's something sparkly with Swarovski crystals or something earthy with one of the many jaspers that I love - I always feel complete when I put my jewelry on -- be it earrings, bracelet or necklace.

My basic shop policy amounts to this -- if I wouldn't wear it - I wouldn't dream of selling it to you. Quality is first and foremost in my thoughts.

I'm always trying to learn more every day about the items I use in my jewelry. My sterling ear wires are made with sterling and copper -- there is NO nickel in my ear wires. Nickel is the cause of many problems for a lot of people and I want everyone to be able to wear my pieces. If you have problems with either the sterling or copper content, please convo me and I will use niobium (a hypoallergenic material) for the ear wires.

The sterling wire that I use in my chainmaille items is recycled and refined -- no new metal was mined to produce it. The gift boxes that I ship my jewelry in are made of partially recycled materials.

When I gardened, one of my favorite authors was Ken Druse. One of his main theories is that your garden should look as good in black and white as it does in color. The shapes and textures should carry the garden (or in this case - the piece of jewelry) - not just the colors involved.

As for my education, it is on going. I’ve taken classes from Lynn Gifford, Jackie Lincoln, Wendy Witchner, Sharilyn Miller, Don Norris, and Kay Rashka. In 2009, I’m taking beginning and intermediate bead making.

I belong to 14 South Artist and to International Jewelry Designer’s Guild.

I donate 5% of my sales (not profit) to Phoenix Society – an organization for Burn Survivors.

Unless otherwise asked, I ship First Class with delivery confirmation.

Refunds and Exchanges

I do have a 10 day return policy. Please contact me first before shipping the item back. It must be in the same packaging that it was sent in.
