Welcome

Tako is the Japanese word for octopus, a very intelligent and adaptable creature. Ink is a method of laying down on paper the things inside my head, be they pictures or words. Tako Ink Online is an online shop for the sale of the pieces created by me, Jessika Frizzell. I enjoy working with recycled and "green"/organic materials, such as felt made from recycled plastic bottles, tabs off of soda cans, and plastic grocery bags. I like coming up with new uses for things we'd normally just throw away!

Currently I'm based in California, but near the end of July this will change. I've been accepted to the University of Georgia and will be moving!

Payment

I currently only accept payment through my PayPal account. I prefer that it is an account transfer from your PayPal account to mine, but a credit card payment to my account is just fine as well.

I require items to be paid for within 24 hours of purchase, so please do not purchase if you do not plan on paying immediately!

I do not charge taxes to any state, but I do have a cancellation fee of $1.00 to cover the cost and time of relisting my item. If you need to cancel your order, please do so asap! I cannot cancel an order after it has been shipped!

Shipping

I usually ship all items within three days of receiving purchase notices. If there is some reason I will not be able to ship within three days, I will send out an email to let you know!

I ship items using USPS and usually ship parcel post or first class, depending on weight, size, etc. I do not ship with insurance or confirmation unless requested. If you would like any of those please email me immediately after purchasing so I can send you a quote and you can send me the additional shipping costs via pay pal.

I do not generally ship internationally, as there are too many places that things can get lost or held up. However, if you are extremely interested in an item and accept the fact that I am not responsible for an customs charges that it may incur, or it going missing between here and there, I will usually be more than willing to ship out of the country if you send me a message.

Refunds and Exchanges

I am not responsible for the way the United States Postal Service mishandles the packages it is entrusted with. A sad but true fact is that a lot of the time postal workers of any sort simply do not care what happens to their parcels. Because of this I do not offer refunds on things lost or damaged in the mail.

I am very careful with how I wrap products being sent out, and carefully mark all of my packages with addresses, return addresses, and fragile and directional "this end up" warnings where warranted.

~If you feel I have not adequately wrapped a product and it arrives to you damaged, please let me know!

~If you feel that part of your product, such as a clasp, is defective, please let me know!

~If your product should not stand up to NORMAL wear and tear within the first 90 days, please let me know!
