Welcome
I love re-appropriating found objects that would otherwise have ended up in the trash bin into beautiful new pieces of jewelry, and I also love rescuing orphaned purses from thrift store purgatory, giving them a splash of artistic dress-up, and sending them back into the world to get a second chance.
Payment
I accept PayPal only. If an item is purchased through Etsy, and I do not receive PayPal payment within 24 hours, I will submit a request for payment to you. I find this can make things easier for some people, as there is just an easy payment link to click.
It is not meant to be pushy, so if you've changed your mind *please* let me know so that I can relist the item for someone else to enjoy!
If three days pass from the original Etsy purchase and the PayPal request with no response, I will relist the item.
Please only buy the item when you are ready to pay me for it. If there is an item you would like to put "on layaway," please send me a private conversation and we can discuss the logistics. Thanks so much!
Shipping
I will ship items within 4 days of receipt of payment. I insure all of my packages and ship standard USPS first class which tends to be 3-5 business days in the United States. Foreign country shipping has limited availability, convo me with questions about overseas purchases.
Refunds and Exchanges
Any item that is received damaged or that has been lost in the mail will be refunded if you inform me within 4 days of receipt for damages, or 1 week after the scheduled delivery date for lost packages. I will file the USPS insurance claim and reimburse you through PayPal once I have received the payment; I have never had to do this and so I cannot give any estimate on the time frame of the refund, but I will do my best to make sure it is expedited.
Should an item arrive damaged and you would like it to be repaired rather than refunded, you may return it to me and I will mend it free of charge and return it to you at the cost of shipping. When the item has been received and repaired, I will submit a PayPal request to you for the return shipping fees, and will send the item back to you as soon as payment is received.
To ensure against fraudulent behavior, I will require photographic proof of the damage to a piece in order to demonstrate the need for the insurance claim to the US Postal Service. Normally photographs of the package's damage and damage to the contents is sufficient, should the physical package be necessary to complete the filing, I will contact you and we will determine a course of action. (Please note that this has never come up, but I do like to make sure all my bases are covered.)
Additional Policies and FAQs
All pieces are one-of-a-kind unless otherwise noted. I am happy to repair pieces that have undergone a bit of rough-and-tumble for the rest of their lives or mine, whichever ends first. Feel free to convo me if you have purchased a piece and it has suffered a traumatic accident, and for the cost of shipping I will happily repair it to as-good-as-new status for you.
