My thanks to Etsy for setting up this section. And, my thanks to you for reading it! While these are my shop policies, nothing is set in stone. If something won't work for you, please convo me, and we will see what we can work out.

If you are gifting someone with some wonderful fiber, just let me know the name and address of your recipient, and the message you want included with your order. GIFT WRAPPING available at no extra charge!

My fibers and yarns are hand-dyed. Because of this, each batch (dye lot) should be considered unique. If you need a specific amount for your project, please contact me about dyeing your entire amount at one time.

Custom dye requests are ALWAYS welcome. Fibers available include merino, sw merino, bfl, sw bfl, Falkland, merino/bamboo, sw merino/tencel and alpaca/merino/silk. If you are requesting a re-dye of a sold listing, it is no longer necessary to include a link to the listing.

A note to my customers-- I want you to know that I ALWAYS read your comments when I process your orders. So many of you say such kind things, and so many FUNNY things. Thank you all so much for your warmth and sharing, and the FUN! I love you guys!

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of purchase, and Paypal is my preferred method. Please complete your order, including payment.

If you REALLY do not want to use Paypal, convo me and we will talk- I want to make it easy for you to shop in my store.

If you wish to wait to pay, please contact me right away to make arrangements. Layaway is available at seller's discretion. (this option is only available to repeat FatCatKnits customers).

Shipping

**If you have a different address in your Etsy vs Paypal accounts, PLEASE convo me about it.**

On larger orders, any excess shipping charged will be promptly refunded.

All orders are shipped within 24-48 hrs, via the United States Postal Service.

My apologies, but I can no longer be responsible for shipments once out of my hands.

ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ship Global Airmail. This is far less expensive than Global Priority, but does not have options for either tracking or insurance. If you want to upgrade, please convo me.

US ORDERS include Delivery Confirmation. This is my proof that I sent your order. If you wish to ship with insurance and a tracking option for added protection (not available everywhere), please contact me prior to payment for order total.

Refunds and Exchanges

My number one priority is your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your item(s), please contact me right away. I want to work with you to resolve any concern.

I am happy to offer exchange (not necessarily the same item) or refund. For returns, item(s) must be in like new condition, and I must be contacted within 3 days of receipt. For refunds, unless it is do to seller error or product defect, I will only refund the cost of the item. Shipping to you and back to me is at your expense. Refunds will not be sent until the item has been received.

Patterns and tutorials, because they are in pdf format, are not refundable or returnable.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Hand-dyed fibers and yarns are hand made. Although I have specific colorways, please expect some variation from skein to skein. For this reason I do not have 'dyelots'- each skein of roving or yarn is considered its own dyelot. Please order all you need for a project at one time to ensure they were all dyed at the same time. If you need larger quantities, please consider requesting the fiber or yarn to be dyed specifically for your order. Custom dye and spinning requests are very welcome.

All patterns/ tutorials are sold for personal use, only. FatCatKnits patterns/ tutorials may not be sold or used to produce garments for resale. Howdever, donation of finished items for charity fundraisers/auctions is encouraged. Please convo or email me at tullockv [!at] aol.com- I only ask that you credit me and include my Etsy shop URL with the item, and in the item description.
