Welcome

All garments are made to order unless stated otherwise. Please allow approximately two weeks for completion before shipping. Work begins once full payment has been received.

All made-to-measure listings are purchasable.

Please include your measurements in your note to seller or send them to me via 'convo'. Also include any aditional information I may need to make clothes that will indeed fit you well. A brief description of your body type and relevant fitting problems is always helpful.

I add design and wearing ease to the measurements you give me so please send actual body measurements taken without slack or cinching. Enquiries are welcome.

Payment

I accept payment via paypal. Payment is due immediately. Any payment not finalized within five business days will cancel the sale. Work begins once payment has been received.

Buyers are solely responsible for any and all import duties or taxes levied by their own government agencies.

Shipping

*All packages sent to the States and 'Everywhere Else' travel Air Mail. Large packages sent to other destinations in Canada are shipped Expedited Mail.*

*Only packages sent within Canada via Expedited Mail automatically come with tracking numbers. Tracking numbers to the States and Elsewhere may be purchased at an additional cost. Please contact me for details.*

***Shipping charges are non-refundable and are entirely the responsibility of the buyer with respect to returns and exchanges. Any exceptions to this will be considered on a case by case basis.***

Refunds and Exchanges

I offer returns for store credit and exchanges (more details to follow), but I do not offer refunds.

**Please read through the measuring instructions below when purchasing made-to-measure or custom clothing as I do not offer returns for store credit or exchanges for either. For this reason, I will be in touch after orders are placed to double-check measurements, offer measuring tips and ask questions if I have any. If you are still unclear about how to measure after reading my tips section below please contact me, I am here to help. That said, please contact me if you are unhappy with your purchase, and we'll work to figure something out.**

**Ready-made clothing (anything listed by size) may be exchanged or returned for store credit within five days of receiving item (customer is responsible for all shipping charges).

If a ready-made item is hemmed specially for a customer or customized in some way it is considered custom clothing and my return policy for ready-made clothes no longer applies (see policy on custom clothing above).

Please contact me if you are unhappy with your purchase, and we'll work to figure something out. Items will be exchanged/store credit for the price of the ready-made garment issued as soon as I receive the original garment back. Returned clothing must be un-worn and in perfect condition**

Additional Policies and FAQs

ON TAKING MEASUREMENTS:

The more accurate your measurements, the better your garment will fit. I can only work with what you send me and am not responsible for ill-fit due to mis-measuring. Please don't guess or give me old numbers, bodies change and an inch give or take, here or there, can mean the difference of an entire size.

Made-to-measure will require a little work on your part, the assistance of a friend or partner, and maybe even the purchase of a new measuring tape (they stretch out as they get old), but the pay-off is a well fitting garment you'll be able to wear for years. Please, if you have questions, I am here to help.


HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS:

-Please take measurements next to skin or over undergarments/tights -the object being not to measure over bulky clothing, etc.
-Take measurements with the tape held taught. Be sure not to measure over thumbs or fingers.
-Please report the actual numbers you see even if they make you feel queazy.
-If you're concerned about your measurements because you like a loser or tighter fit please include that in a side note instead of adding to or subtracting from your meausrements without telling me. I make adjustments for stretch fabrics and add design and wearing ease based on the measurements you give me so resist temptation and talk to me instead.
-Take measurements in either inches or centimetres.
-Be as precise as you can.


Circumference Measurements:

-Waist- I'll let you know where I want you to measure. Usually I request the waist measurement to be taken where the garment will rest around your middle. I will likely give you a landmark like one inch below belly button, etc. You might want to tie a ribbon around your middle here because you'll be using this line (which should be parallel to the floor and to all other circumference measurements) as a line from which to measure.

-Hip- ****NOT taken around hip bones****Instead, please send your largest measurement which could be as low as the very base of your bum. If you're pear shaped, we're talking the bottom of the pear. If you're bigger higher up, please make a note. For the hip measurement it's always good to take this measure in several different places and report back with the largest one (make note of where the winning hip line is as you'll be measuring from this line to your waist line along your side seam to find your Hip Depth measurement.

-Bust- taken around fullest part of bust. Be sure to take measurements while wearing the undergarments you would wear with whatever clothing you are hoping to have made as this might change fullness or location of fullness ;).

-Upper thigh- Measure around top of thigh.


Other Measurements:

-Hip depth- Place measuring tape along your side seam. Measure between the ribbon tied around your waist and your hip line (where you took your hip measurement). If you had a zipper at your side that ran between these two points you'd be measuring the length of the zipper.

-Inseam- Place measuring tape at the top inside of your leg and measure to desired hemline. Measure your favourite pants if the length suits the style requested.


I'VE RECEIVED MY PACKAGE AND MY GARMENT DOESN'T FIT - WHAT DO I DO?:

Please contact me immediately. If I have made a mistake I will fix it and cover shipping.

If your garment doesn't fit, I will ask that you re-take your measurements. If you have mis-taken your measurements, I will fix your garment but all shipping costs are your responsibility.


READY-MADE SIZING:

I work in the 0-16(US), misses size range. Please measure yourself carefully before purchasing ready-made items and compare with the garment measurements listed in the product descriptions.

Please note whether the measurements in the listing are actual garment measurements or if they indicate the body measurements of the person they are meant to fit.

In case of the former, remember to leave yourself room to move as measurements listed are the dimensions of the actual garment and *not* of the person the garment is meant to fit. That said, please feel free to send me your measurements and I will happily give you a second opinion.
