everything i make is handmade, either thrown on the wheel, or hand built. i then decorate the work with colored underglazes, wax over the underglaze, and carve in my line drawings, adding a second color into the incised lines, after the first bisque fire, the piece is then glazed in a clear glaze and fired again. more recently i have been experimenting with paper cut outs, using a technique similar to printmaking on my clay. i am always looking for new ideas and inspirations.
