Entrelac's Shop Policies

Welcome

My stitch markers are all made using the best quality affordable wire I can find for the rings -- 10-karat gold filled, sterling silver filled, and solid copper along with unusual and rare metals from time to time to time like Titanium and Niobium.

The filled wires I use are not the normal micron-thick gold-plate or silver-plate commonly found in jewelery wires, my wire source uses a 10-40 plating, making the gold and silver content of the filled wires almost equal to their solid copper cores. The metals are permanently bonded, and are as strong as or stronger than their solid sterling and gold counterparts while still being affordable. I will say that I started this store with different materials and have since upgraded to my current supplier(s), though some of my original items are still available.

All of my rings are turned and cut by hand, some by me and some by the superb chainmaille supplier C&T Designs. I use the finest quality beads I can afford including Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, unusual-effect plastics, and the occasional semiprecious stones.

I use smaller beads to reduce the total weight of the stitch markers, so they'll add as little extra weight to your needles as possible. Because my sock and laceweight markers ARE so small, they are a little more difficult to assemble and thus tend to cost a little more than the larger rings.

Payment

I accept Paypal (and credit cards through Paypal) and personal checks. If you'd like pay in some other manner, send me a convo, I'll be happy to accomodate as I can.

I typically will allow about one week for customers to pay for their items, and then send a gentle email asking if everything is all right. If I don't hear back in another week, I'll usually give them one more email and a third week to respond, then I'll relist the item. Thankfully, I've not had to do that yet. Etsyans are the best. :)

Shipping

I ship worldwide via First Class US Postal Service.

If you'd like me to insure your markers, mail your items a different way or via a different carrier, please send me a convo. I'll be happy to work with you and calculate the difference in shipping costs.

Refunds and Exchanges

If for whatever reason you find these markers aren't what you were hoping for (either in design or because the color in person didn't match the color on your monitor), please send me a convo. I want to make sure you are happy with your markers, and I will work with you on getting them returned for a refund or in exchange for something else, custom orders included.

Additional Policies and FAQs

I guarantee every stitch marker I make for...well, for as long they last. :) If you find I've sent you a marker with the cut ends of the ring exposed, please let me know right away (because it means I messed up and didn't catch it), and I'll send you out a replacement lickety split.

Sorry, though, if you're really rough on your markers and they start getting bent out of shape, the only thing I can do for you is make up a custom order of super mega strong titanium markers that you couldn't bend even if you tried! :D

Speaking of custom orders, I LOVE making them! Send me a convo and we can start corresponding about the types of wire, beads, and designs of markers I can make for you. Once all of the decisions are made, it typically takes me about a week to get your order created and ready to mail. The only time that might take longer is if I have to special order any of the materials to make your items, but if that happens I can usually guesstimate how much longer it'll be.
